Afghanistan has had several years of drought that has contributed to its food shortage and mass internal migration. Access to sufficient and clean water is at a critical stage. Families are forced to get their drinking water from polluted gullies and walk miles to fetch water from distant wells.
Shared Humanity has drilled 4 wells at the request of village and community leaders who have promised to protect the machinery and to ensure that the water will be free and available for all.
